I am an online entrepreneur, a Pinoy online entrepreneur
but first I am a Pinay mom of three beautiful school-age kids who persistently turn me upside down, inside out, and get the best and worst of me.
Since we moved to Canada in 2007, things have drastically changed for me in ways I had never imagined.
How?
Firstly, I am now a certified mom and housemaker (read: katulong 
). Being once an absentee career-oriented mom, who would have thought I would morph into a one-stop-shop service provider -
yaya, cleaner, cook, labandera, hilot, traffic police, investigator, teacher, tutor, mentor, storyteller, pastor, advocate, barber-hairdresser, mananahi, artist, witch, etc.? Not in my wildest dreams. But it happened and thank God it happened!
Secondly, I used to break my back working for others. I don’t do that anymore. I’ve shifted sail to becoming a Pinoy online entrepreneur, or simply a POE.
Sounds interesting, no? Well, it’s no easy job. Although an uphill battle because I had to learn the ropes of a new trade, it’s an enjoyable, thrilling and highly fulfilling journey.
Thirdly, so much more have happened in my life but I’m not telling…

Pinoy Online Entrepreneur In a Nutshell
Ano nga ba ang maging online entrepreneur?
An online entrepreneur is simply an enterprising person working online or using the internet as the medium and arena for doing business or advancing one’s career.
A Pinoy online entrepreneur’s added flavor is that it is done by a Pinoy like me and that’s what I call myself: a Pinoy online entrepreneur.

As I watch local and global events unfold, more and more Pinoys leave home to seek greener pastures.
Yet on the flip side, a huge number of overseas Filipino workers are forced back to the Philippines by force majeure or circumstances beyond their control like war, strike, riot, crime, hurricane, flooding, earthquake, tsunami, radioactivity, volcanic eruption, among others.
In effect, many lose jobs and income and join the ranks of the unemployed or underemployed including those with high qualifications.
There has to be a way out, right? There’ll always be.
For me, I think the internet provides a doable way out for a number of reasons:
- It offers a low-cost, high return investment opportunity (if done correctly, persistently and consistently);
- Most Pinoys are computer literate and highly trainable;
- Most Pinoys would have the time to get involved in the internet if they wanted to (just imagine mga Pinoy na laging nasa Facebook);
- Access to computers is so easy and relatively cheap;
- Free resources to start with abound in the internet; and
- With a workable game plan and know-how, anybody can jump on in whenever ready.

This website aims to encourage and develop more Pinoys to be online entrepreneur. It’s being created for our kababayang Pinoy in the Philippines and elsewhere in the world who:
- want to break free from the grind of a highly stressful work life;
- are currently unemployed or underemployed by circumstance or by choice;
- dream of spending quality time with family, self and/or friends;
- desire to optimize their educational qualifications, skills, talents, hobbies and experiences, instead of just being engaged in non-challenging jobs ”just to get by”;
- aspire to augment their meager income;
- explore the online world yet do not know how to start or how to proceed;
- are open to the possibility of crossing over to the online world as a full-time job or business;
- are willing to invest themselves by learning new things every time and applying new-found knowledge and skills into good use;
- are keen on becoming a Pinoy Online Entrepreneur working from home.

Pinoys, who are competent, hard-working, resourceful, and talented, can be successful online entrepreneurs living a life of their dreams;
Pinoys deserve the best life possible with their families and loved ones.
So You Want to Be a Pinoy Online Entrepreneur?

The path of an online entrepreneur is no quick fix to all your problems.
Any entrepreneur would tell you that starting out a business or career takes time, energy, patience, positive but realistic outlook, and resources. It also requires a workable plan and committed action. Don’t worry. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes a breeze.
As online entrepreneur, vast opportunities and possibilities will be revealed. Be sure what you want, study your options, get the big picture, zoom in on what will help achieve your goal, work it out and… boom!
You won’t have instant success. Affront, you should know that being an online entrepreneur is no get-rich-quick scheme or easy push-button thing.
In fact, you may be downed (and drowned) many times over by failure and frustrations (like me) you would want to just quit and walk away.
Don’t!
There is future in here.
I dream to see that future with a critical mass of Pinoys working from home as online entrepreneur and living happy, meaningful, and prosperous lives with their family.

A Peek at Pinoy Online Entrepreneur
In your journey to be an online entrepreneur, I’ll take you through these pretty amazing stuff 
- Basics. This should prepare you and give you the ammunition to succeed as an online entrepreneur.
- Online jobs. If you wish to get employed by somebody else online, say, as a virtual assistant or to do an outsourced job, then this is the route for you. Build experience as online entrepreneur from this.
- Affiliate marketing. Two things here: if you don’t have a product (or you’re not ready to launch yours yet), you may promote other internet marketers’ digital or physical goods or services and get commissions. If you have your own product, you may set up your army of affiliates, multiply your selling effort, and earn more.
- Article marketing. Yes, this is a way for an online entrepreneur – write articles or repurpose private label content and market them online.
- Private Label Rights (PLR). PLR gives you various rights to do anything you’d like with private label content. If you master this, you may write your own ebook, report, training modules; venture into ghostwriting or set up your PLR store? Possibilities are endless.
- eBooks. You don’t have a product to sell? Write an ebook or, perhaps, a report on something that you are passionate about, your experience (say, as online entrepreneur) or a technology that will benefit a specific market niche?
- Website development. Learn how to start and maintain your own website as well as reach your target readers or audience.
- Resources. Enjoy free online resources to carry you through your development as an online entrepreneur.
- Website development. Have you ever thought of setting up your own website but don’t have a clue how? How about having your own website but don’t know how to monetize? That should help you as online entrepreneur but remember, it’s not necessary.
This list can go on and on but for now, that should whet your appetite to start something… anything towards being an online entrepreneur.
